The story of Leonard, narrating the events leading up to his murder - while trying to understand them himself. Audiences are afforded the unique opportunity of peering behind the curtains and into the hearts of the eclectic neighbours who bear witness to Leonard's life and death, portrayed by a single performer.
Anne-Marie Bergman is the first woman to perform MacIvor’s challenging tour-de-force piece – and her interpretation garnered selection as “Pick of the Festival” in Kingston’s inaugural Storefront Festival earlier this year.
(Mature Language, Implied Violence)
Cul-de-sac was first produced by da da kamera in 2003.
Cul-de-sac is staged by arrangement with Pam Winter, Gary Goddard Agency, www.garygoddardagency.com
